Walmart to cut G1 price to $48.88 and myTouch 3G price to $98.88?

We now have the HTC Hero available on Sprint and the Samsung Moment coming soon, with that the T-Mobile G1 is beginning to show its age and it looks like the pricing will soon be reflecting that.
According to TmoNews, Walmart is going to be slashing the pricing on both the T-Mobile G1 and the myTouch 3G. Of course, as of this posting the Walmart website is yet to reflect the change in price, so a double checking would be in order before a purchase is made.
That said, it looks like the G1 will be $48.88 and the myTouch 3G will be $98.88. Both of course will require a two-year agreement in order to get that pricing.

I’m sooo happy that the G1 is $48.88 I saw the price in walmart yesterday and since its soo low I’m finally gonna get it, I’ve been saving the money so I’ve been waiting 4 a price cut so the rest of the money can go on something else. I love walmart!!
