Spotify official app now in Android Market!

Spotify is finally entered the Android Market in select European nations. After teasing users with its capabilities since the Google I/O conference and watching an unofficial client disappear as quickly as it debuted, premium Spotify users can now enjoy their music anywhere with the official Spotify application.

Spotify makes millions of songs, playlists, and user-created libraries available through subscription or ad-support.  The app includes an offline mode that makes it possible to listen to songs when a data connection isn’t present. This obviously increases Spotify’s appeal in comparison to other streaming services.

The Android application requires an ad-free premium membership that costs €10 per month. The app is currently available only to users in France, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
