The next HTC device tapped to run Android and the Sense UI will be the HTC Tattoo, previously seen as the HTC Click. I just received notice in my email inbox that the company plans to bring “broad personalization to the masses. With its distinct design and ability to personalize all aspects of the phone, from its hardware to its applications and content, people are able to express themselves and create their own individual mobile experience.”
myTouch much? That’s right, just like T-Mobile’s latest Android offering, the Tattoo is geared towards complete customization and enables users to design or purchase pre-made covers that will change the phone’s appearance. The internal will also be tailor-made thanks to the Sense mantra of “Make it Mine, Stay Close and Discover the Unexpected.” Various forms of communication are brought into one center and users are able to create custom scenes that change Android’s appearance/content.
HTC will release the Tattoo in Europe beginning next month (October) and will release in other areas of the world a few months afterward. Carrier and pricing information has not yet been made available.
