Fun with Sweeter Home: an ultra-personal theme for Android home screens

Sweeter Home is one of my favorites Android apps. Were it not for the app’s lag and force close issues, I would have included it in the 50 Best Android Apps list. Those problems should be addressed in Sweeter Home 2, but I wanted to toy around with creating a few themes right now. Below are two videos of themes I created – Big Blue 2009 and Busy Body.
Busy Body
Busy Body is my favorite creation so far. Designed to replicate the desk of a disorganized fellow such as I, this Sweeter Home theme incorporates every element of the wallpaper I created and serves as a springboard for different types of apps. Take a look at this video for more.
Interested in using this theme? Download the Androinica-dotcom-BusyBody file and copy the file contents to your SD card. I have included a .psd file in case you want to load PhotoShop and change icons, rearrange images, or add your own photos.
Big Blue 2009
Big Blue 2009 is less complex than BusyBody. It’s based on the springboard styles of Sweeter Home Skins and geared towards New York Giants fans.
Interested in using this theme? Download the Androinica-dotcom-BigBlue2009 file and copy the contents to your SD card. If you are not a New York Giants fan and want to create something geared toward your favorite franchise, search resource websites for wallpapers, icons, and images to use in your theme.

Your 'Busy Body' theme is way cool! Nice job with that.
F-ing impressive!
I tried Sweeter Home long ago, and will definately give it another go.
Can't get it to work, while the explanation seems to be so easy. All i get are unusable icons that are all over the place
Rio, Sweeter Home doesn't package themes for sharing that well. You need to go to each screen and press Menu > Edit Layout. Then you move around content to get everything to appear.
I'm trying to configure busy body but none of the images are showing up. Am i doing something wrong? :S
All of the images are saved in the wallpaper in order to increase speed. Once you set the busybody image as the wallpaper, you just have to go into edit mode and click on the squares that will set everything up. For instance, press the Stormtrooper key ring in edit mode and you will see a way to edit utilities.
Oooh now i see xD Thanks
good way to speed it up too
So I applied the theme again with the right wallpaper and it looks right now.. But all the screens are popped up and i don't know how to close theme and when i try to click the stormtrooper or the foto's it doesn't do anything
The current version of SweeterHome has problems with overlapping and nearby panels. Until the next version comes out (I'm told soon), we'll just have to deal with it.
What I do now is go into edit mode and then exit to see it will be better when it refreshes. If not, I'll go into edit and move things around until they work.
Wicked impressive. Well done in all aspects. Cant wait patiently enough for a day off in order to invest enough time into tinkering with my own layout(s).
How did you assign an application to launch to each of the pictures. Is that built into Sweeter home or did you use something like Desktop visualizer for that?
Trying SweeterHome2 right now, and it's well, SWEET. I do look forward to some more stability, though. A lot of force closes right now, and even a number of crashes to my entire system. This'll be awesome when it's out of beta.
