Motorola invites the world to its Android party on Sept. 10

Motorola is highly likely to debut something Android related next month. Will it be a device like the Morrison or Sholes (or both) or their rumored “Blur” interface that takes centerstage? Either way, Motorola will unveil some type of product concerning Android on September 10, 2009.

Several websites and publications have received invitations to a September 10 event in San Francisco that bear an image of the Android logo. This is less coy than the invitations HTC sent out to announce the Hero as Motorola has opted to overtly tip its hat that the event will deal with Android.

We’ve seen Motorola’s Android activity heat up recently with the announcement of its App Accelerator program, rumors dealing with the Sholes, and leaked images of the Morisson making the rounds on the net. One of those devices/features, or maybe all of them, will almost suredly make its first public appearance.

Also of note: Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha will deliver the keynote speech at the 2009 Mobilize Conference in San Francisco that same day.
