Canadians are making out like bandits on the Android device front. They’ve already seen Rogers drop the price on both the HTC Dream and Magic, and now they have the option of getting either phone at an even cheaper price.
FutureShop has one-upped (or downed if you think about it) Rogers and is offering the HTC Dream and HTC Magic for only $49.99 until Thursday, August 13th. Canadian consumers willing to sign a 3-year contract agreement with Rogers can pick up either of the first two Android phones for just under $50. Wow.
Price-cutting like this has often led to new devices, so could Canada be seeing some new Android phones? If you’ve been waiting on Android and don’t want to wait around until something new is announced, order the Dream or Magic on FutureShop and arrange an in-store pickup.
