Visual Voicemail on the myTouch 3G, here is a first look

Carriers, T-Mobile
It looks like visual voicemail will indeed be available for the myTouch 3G and a few new videos have recently been found that will teach you how to use visual voicemail on your T-Mobile phone. The demo is being shown on a myTouch 3G, however it was noted as teaching you how to use visual voicemail on your T-Mobile phone. That leaves the question as to whether or not T-Mobile is planning to also offer this for other phones, or if it will be limited to the myTouch 3G.
In the meantime, there are a few videos that will help, or in this case tease a little considering neither the visual voicemail or the myTouch 3G is yet available. The videos, of which there are three highlight how to check and listen to a message, save that message to a memory card and how to listen to your voicemail in any order.
Overall, visual voicemail is pretty simple to use, but at the same time, it is nice to actually see it in action. So while we are waiting for the release, head on over and check out the videos.

yea yea…I really don't understand why anyone would re-invent the wheel! Actually this looks like the pre-cursor to the wheel, which I believe was square contraption. Why don't T-Mobile partner with a decent 3rd party? I'm using HulloMail but there is also PhoneFusion and Youmail – all of which have different USP's and offer a voicemail leap. This T-Mobile effort looks like a leap down a hole..no wonder Google Voice's of this world have a chance to take on the carriers directly.. come on T-Mobile focus on better things leave this stuff to the guys that make it their business.
The videos have been taken down.
I have the original G1 with data plan 24.99 for data and 400 SMS messages. To enable the Visual Voice mail I have to upgrade to more expensive plan.
I don’t think is worth it to pay $5+ for VVM
I think I will start using the voice mail of google voice instead.
