If for some reason you feel that you do not want to pre-order your myTouch 3G directly with T-Mobile, then worry not, because Best Buy Mobile will also be accepting orders.
According to the emailed flyer, customers will be required to place a $50 deposit, which will be placed on a Best Buy Gift Card and applied towards the final purchase. After you place your pre-order, you will then need to bring your gift card along with your sales receipt and flyer when your phone arrives.
Of course, the pre-order availability comes with a little catch. It appears as if Best Buy will only be offering the myTouch 3G in white and merlot.
One bit of information that seems to have not been mentioned is whether anyone can place the pre-order, or if it is just available for current T-Mobile customers.
