O2 will begin offering the Samsung Galaxy i7500 phone in the United Kingdom in August. The Android-powered Galaxy, already availabile in Germany, appeared in O2′s July catalogue of upcoming products and is expected to go on sale the following month. O2 has confirmed that it will offer the phone in the UK, though it has not revealed how much the phone will cost with a contract. (It costs £499 unlocked)
The Galaxy is Samsung’s debut into the Android arena and its quite the entrance. The Galaxy has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, 8 gigs of internal storage, and a 3.2-inch touchscreen to display Android 1.5 firmware. On paper, it’s arguably the best Android phone yet. We’ll know for sure once O2 releases more information and the Galaxy goes head-to-head against the HTC Hero, HTC Magic, and T-Mobile G1 in the UK.

Does any one hold anyinformation and facts? I’m saying my personal assumptions based mostly on past monitor record(the closest point to facts that anybody has right now) so, about the Nexus1, that dropped first in the USA so, not truly the similar and as far because the HD2 it doesn’t matter how lengthy it took the level is it’s still coming to T-MO USA, so (IMHO) this cell phone will go to TMobile U.S.A, Thanks. By the way ,nice post
