T-Mobile
Beginning tomorrow morning, T-Mobile UK will offer the HTC Hero as the G2 Touch on the Internet. The G2 Touch will then become available in stores across the United Kingdom over the following days.
T-Mobile UK confirmed the release date a short while ago in its official Twitter streaming, reminding potential customers of the device availability saying, “T-Mobile G2 Touch available to buy online from tomorrow and in stores over the next few days.”
T-Mobile was expected to offer the G2 Touch by mid July when the company first acknowledged that it would offer the Hero. Rival carrier Orange has already begun selling the Hero, so T-Mobile will be playing catch-up. Subscribers willing to help them do that will be rewarded with a free G2 Touch on any 18-month contract valued over £40 monthly.
