T-Mobile has officially announced their second Android phone — and as expected it is the myTouch 3G. The handset will be available for preorder beginning on July 8 and will be priced at $199 with a two-year agreement. Additionally, as we saw with the previously leaked box art images, the myTouch 3G will be available in either black, white or merlot.
Feature wise, the myTouch 3G will have a 3.2-inch 480 x 320 display, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.2-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth/A2DP and a preinstalled 4GB microSD card. Other features include having support for YouTube, Google Maps with Street View and Latitude as well as support for POP, IMAP and Exchange accounts.
Finally, it looks like those that preorder can expect to receive their myTouch 3G on July 29, of course that date is just for current T-Mobile customers. Any non-T-Mobile customers will have to wait until early August.
