T-Mobile continues the 3G expansion, now hitting some pretty small areas

In the ever expanding coverage, T-Mobile has just recently rolled out 3G to a few more areas, and thankfully this is one instance where it affects me. It is also interesting to see that a few of these areas, at least the ones that I am familiar with in this list are not the largest of towns.

Anyway, the latest areas to get some T-Mobile 3G goodness are College Station, Beaumont, Bryant and Galveston Texas as well as Bradenton, Lakeland, Sarasota, Spring Hill and Weeki Wachee Florida.

Honestly, this list, albeit short is still surpassing. Like I mentioned some of these areas are small, namely Weeki Wachee which according to the US Census Bureau had an estimated population of 12 as of 2004. Not to mention, on of the main attractions and highlights for that area is Weeki Wachee Springs which is most famous for their mermaids.

Not sure what that says, because while there are many areas still waiting and hoping for 3G coverage from T-Mobile, but at least we can rest assured in knowing that the mermaids (at least while on land) will be able to enjoy some 3G speeds.
