Official HTC Hero details begin to emerge

While we are still waiting for the official announcement, which at this point is still about an hour away, we are being treated with what appears to be the complete details of the HTC Hero on the official HTC website.

There seems to be plenty of information already available on the HTC Hero. So far we can tell you that (according to the website) the Hero will be focused on personalization as well as having the ability to keep all of your contact information (both local and from the cloud) collected and easy to check.

In terms of hardware, the HTC Hero will have a 3.2-inch display with a 320 x 480 resolution, internal GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and a microSD card slot.

I am sure we will get some more information once the official announcement takes place, however in the meantime two cool features that are listed on the website include a dedicated Search button that will search everything from your local contacts, to your emails and appointments as well as Twitter.

Additionally, and this one should offer some joy for many users — the HTC Hero is noted as having a “full-featured mobile browser that displays Flash-based sites.”

In the meantime, while we still have some time to wait, hit the link below to check out the HTC Hero website for yourself.
