T-Mobile G2 (myTouch) coming in July and packing a 5-megapixel camera

Android Phones, Carriers, HTC, T-Mobile
Although this latest bit has not been officially confirmed, it would appear that the myTouch is going to be packing a 5-megapixel camera when it is released with T-Mobile here in the US. Of course, this goes against the grain a little because they current Magic has a 3.2-megapixel camera.
Other goodies that have surfaced in regards to the T-Mobile myTouch is that it is expected to be available this July and retailing for $179 with a two-year agreement. It looks like T-Mobile customers are going to have some deciding to do. Will you grab a G2, Magic, err myTouch in July or wait until October and get Bigfoot. Personally I am digging the look of the myTouch, especially if it has a 5-megapixel camera however Bigfoot may be worth the wait.

The two big things that still need to be revealed about the "Bigfoot" is "Will it have a 3.5mm jack?" and "What kind of camera will it sport?". Unless the G2/myTouch/Magic also gets a 3.5mm jack added to it (probably less likely than the 5 mp camera) then those two on the "Bigfoot" might make a difference. Then again, there's also the Samsung which will have both, just without the QWERTY. Gotta see how the two look and compare before making that decision.
Is there really that big of a need for a 3.5mm headphone jack. Why can’t you just get the adapter that has one? I wouldn’t consider that to be a deal breaker.
I think I will wait and see how the battery life is on any them. I'm still shocked by how much the G1's battery falls short.
The G1 is ok… I’m diggin the mytouch. Seems with a nice camera I would be happy with the G1, but there’s no video on here and the camera really is horrible. Really those 2 things made me miss my Blackberry!
It's all about Stereo Bluetooth…. who needs wires anyway?
The g1 and mytouch already have support for bluetooth streaming (a2dp) my there are no headphones on the market that are comfortable and wearable during any sort of movement. The adapter HTC gives you is way to long and unpractical to carry around and the little adapters last about a week. I am so mad that T-mobile didnt DEMAND this phone have a 3.5mm jack. I will skip this phone and hopefully be able to jump on board with att for the iphone. Good going tmobile!!
Ive had both the G1 & myTouch, and I will tell you I’m impressed with both. Google has made excellent phones since the g1 but I will tell it was worth the wait for the myTouch Fender Edition, tmobile straight up. Thanks I know phones tend to act up every few dents * especially when u bruise them but you cld always try reseting it.. Lol, blackberry was mine before Google made there threshold with the g1 but ill tell droids are way super awesome.
