Samsung i7500 heading to France in early July as the Galaxy

It looks like the next carrier that will be launching an Android handset will be French carrier Bouygues Telecom. The handset is going to be the Samsung i7500, however it will be renamed and launched as the Galaxy.

Aside from the name change, the specs will remain the same. Just to offer a quick refresh, the i7500 Galaxy features a 3.2-inch AMOLED 320 x 480 capacitive touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus, built-in GPS, 8GB of internal memory, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, microUSB, Wi-Fi and a 3.5mm headset jack. Additionally, the Galaxy will offer HSDPA 7.2Mbps, HSUPA 5.76Mbps (900/1700/2100MHz) as well as quadband GSM support.

As of now the details are still a little light, Bouygues Telecom have announced that it will be available beginning in early July, however the pricing is still unknown.
