Motorola “Morrison” will be sporting Android and heading to T-Mobile for the 2009 Holiday Season

Yet another Android based handset has been revealed on the previously leaked t-Mobile roadmap and it is showing a Motorola that is going by the codename of “Morrison.”

Unfortunately, this comes with little other details, other than it is expected to be available during the 2009 holiday season which is listed as running from November 4 through December 31. Based on the image, it would appears as if “Morrison” is going to be a slider style handset with a full QWERTY keyboard and a nice big display.

Assuming this roadmap plays out the way it reads, it looks like T-Mobile, or potential T-Mobile customers here in the US will have plenty of Android-based phones to choose from by the time 2009 ends. Of course, what that means for Motorola is entirely different because more available options means a potential for less customers to pick them. Maybe Android is not going to be the savior that Motorola was expecting.
