The HTC Lancaster has company in another possible Android phone expected to hit AT&T. The Motorola Heron, previously spotted as the “Ironman” phone, is believed to be primed for a November 2nd release. The slider comes with Palm Pre like QWERTY keyboard, a 3 megapixel camera with flash, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 2.3 QVGA resolution.
According to Engadget, the Heron info comes from a leaked AT&T slide that may be outdated, so the November 2 date is by no means a lock. A photo rendering of the phone reminds me of the Facade Windows Mobile theme I ran on my T-Mobile Dash. That could just be the result of AT&T wanting to break free from the Android look found on other phones.
More details should emerge on the Heron, which could be a big boom to Motorola and AT&T if successful. The largest American carrier could use a non-iPhone device to spice up its line-up and Motorola is in desperate need of a popular phone to revive its struggling company.

Uh,
Hopefully it is outdated, because the "Browser" is listed as "Internet Explorer 6" (see right hand column)
