O2 Germany has confirmed that Samsung’s first Android phone is the I7500. Feast your eyes on this baby, which closely resembles the the Samsung S8000, the phone originally expected to bring Samsung into the Android game. Now would be a good time to get intrigued.

Mobile Reviewed even snapped some hands-on photos showing the I7500 up close. The snapshots show a phone that promises a 5 megapixel camera, support for various audio and video codecs, 1500mAh battery (compared to 1200 of the G1), 8GB internal memory, up to 32GB SD card,3.5 mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, GPS, etc. etc. The phone will be exclusive in Germany to O2 in June, but no information has been released on pricing. There’s also no word on if Samsung plans to release a similar Android device in the UK and US markets.
