I-Buddie netbook gets the Android treatment

Android on netbooks is something that has been talked about for quite a while now. In the past there has been a few other videos showing Android running, and the latest comes courtesy of NetbookNews who show off a “prototype” I-Buddie netbook.

Honestly, even being a fan of both netbooks and Android, this video is a slight bit disappointing to watch. It looks like someone took a smartphone and simply enlarged the screen, and not like what you would expect hope to see on a 10.2-inch display. Of course, Android was not designed to run on this model, so the fact that it is running, albeit with plenty of errors, is still enough to peak ones interest just a little.

Anyway, the I-Buddie is pretty much your standard netbook which features an Intel Atom N270 processor so if nothing else that should give some hope as to what we can see in the future. In the meantime, we are left with this short video below…
