Are certain apps not appearing for some Android users?

There MIGHT be a glitch in the Android Market that causes certain apps to not appear for some customers. A few Androinica readers reported being unable to see DataViz’s Documents to Go in the Market. Despite searching for the exact phrase, filtering according to date and section, DocsToGo was still invisible to some but listed for others.
Stock G1 users on the same network report being unable to see different apps that others are able to access. I’ve since seen the same problem reported in the forums at Android Community, Twitter, and my local area. What gives? Fewer than 10 cases does not a trend make, but this does not seem to be an isolated incident.
This all makes me wonder what I might be missing. I’ve sought assistance at the Android Market help page to gain some clarity on the issue.
Has anyone experienced this problem recently?

You could always have users click an android only link directly to the app in the market.
http://market.android.com/search?q=pname:com.dataviz.docstogoapp
(note: above link only works on android device)
Or use the qr-code or links found on cyrket

I don’t see any paid apps on Market at all on my G1. Search does not help either. Neither does going to the URL. However, I have no problem with free apps.
I’m having this issue too – certain apps just don’t appear, even with precise searches. Amongst them I babbler, layar, etc… it’s rather annoying.
