Earlier in the month we told you about TouchDown from NitroDesk, which is an email app for Android that offers Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support. At that time, it was available for download, however the push support was limited to the latest beta, well the good news is that TouchDown with push support is now out of beta and available to all.
If you were a current TouchDown user, you will just need to install the “TouchDown Pro License” app, which you can find in the Android Market. New users can install the “Exchange by TouchDown” app which offers a five-day trial period, after which they can then choose to add the pro license to keep the full version of TouchDown. The app is currently priced at $29.99.
Key features of the new version include the previously mentioned Exchange support, as well as PIN based security and Remote-Wipe of Exchange data.

Awesome. And I work for a company that is very Microsoft-only. This software connected to our Exchange server on the first shot. I love the integration of calendar items (reminders) and emails into the regular UI of the phone. Very nicely done.
Hi Geoff. What do you mean with "the integration into the regular UI of the phone"? I have a HTC Hero and e.g. I cannot click a person and see the email conversation with this person. Am I missing something?
When replying to emails it also sends me a copy of my reply. Is there a way to turn this off? I know i can delete my own contact name in the to: part but that is annoying.
In the settings, turn off BCC yourself.
Does this app allow you to forward emails with the original email in-line (included) and attachments in the original file format?
If you are already using the Droid Eris Exchange software can you easily integrate this app? Do you need to delete your old mail first?
