According to yet another Android related rumor, it looks like Vodafone has plans to launch the HTC Magic on May 1. The details that come along with this report are pretty light. So far, it has been mentioned that the Magic will launch as the HTC Magic Pioneer and that users will be able to get it for free along with a £25 per month contract.
Sadly, there was not any source or trusted source that leaked these details. At this point, I can only say that I hope to see an actual release announcement on May 1 for this handset. I also hope that we begin to see some Android handsets in general, the news (unfortunately) seems to be full of upcoming promises and rumors. So far the year of Android has not been turning out all the promising.

As of right now you can take this to be fact. I actually first heard about this delay mid June via a trusted source but was asked to keep it quiet. I’m waiting to hear back from them with confirmation of the details posted by Mobile Today and will post anything new on TAP.
Sorry – make that mid March – got a bit ahead of myself there.
