We have recently seen the reports of Vodafone preparing to launch the HTC Magic in April, and while there is a fair bit of excitement surrounding that release, we cannot forget about the original Android handset — the Dream or G1.
The latest report circulating the Internet is pointing towards the possibility that Orange may be launching the Dream as early as tomorrow, March 5th. Sadly, as of now that can be classified as nothing more than rumor.
Anyway, according to the rumored report, Orange will be offering the Dream for 99 Euros (about $125 US) after a rebate. In order to get that pricing, users would also have to sign a two-year agreement. In addition, the Dream would take advantage of the Origami Star Plus plan that costs 42 Euros (about $53 US) a month and includes unlimited data, text and 50 hours of Wi-Fi access at Orange points.
Thankfully the rumor is calling for the release on March 5, which means that we will not have long to wait in order to see if this was accurate.
