German Android users beginning to see RC9 update

It seems that G1 users in Germany are beginning to see the latest update hit their phones. The update, which is RC9 is reported to be similar to what US based users saw with RC33. As always, for those users who are eagerly anticipating the update and cannot wait any longer, RC9 can be downloaded here (zip download). If you choose to go the manual update route, you can find a good tutorial over on modmyGphone.
Additionally, it was also mentioned that the RC9 firmware update was currently in the testing phase for UK users. As of now there have been a few reports of UK based users receiving the update, but nothing official yet. Unfortunately as of this posting a direct update link for UK users has not been posted.
I am in the UK. Received RC9 during the night, just updated it. Can’t work out what’s different.
A collegue has just shown me his RC9 update from the firmware screen, the UK update seems to be lacking the voice search option from the search widget that the US RC33 had, perhaps the romours of the English accent recognition problems were indeed true. Still waiting for my update and I had my phone a few months before he did! :0(

i got my rc9 this morning london, uk. the only things ive noticed is that theres now the option of checking for updates manually, the ability to see which applications have newer versions on the market, and also i noticed that my internal storage has been freed up by about 10mb.
Also received the RC9 Essex UK: NO voice search No Lattitude No MSN/AOL/YAHOO options on Chat worst of all NO PAID APPLICATIONS, so we’re stuck with free ones which are now upgrading to paid versions which we can not access. T-Mobile is treating its UK customers with CONTEMPT Bollox
I got my update this morning (York) and same as Taira, only changes seem to be ability to check for updates, and about 10mb of freed up internal storage. No Voice Search, No Paid Apps, No noticable improvements. Seems to be mainly a behind the scenes update. Disappointed so far!
I got RC-9 update this morning. I can’t tell what is the difference! Somebody please help me!!!
I just got the RC9 update, now there is an application called “Sim Toolkit” which navigates to an ‘Interactive’ menu. Will have to try it all out before I comment much upon it! Can now also check for System Updates within the ‘About phone’ settings No voice recognition on the search yet I’m pretty happy with the update, since I’ve only had the phone for 4 days. Are they regular??
Got mine this morning! NO change at all ,waste of time tmobile sending theupdate. PULL ur finger out and start giving people their propa updates.
