JJC Games has recently released a new game for Android — Air Hockey. I must admit that I am a sucker for Air Hockey, so this sounded great right from the beginning and although it took me almost a week to give it a try, it seems like an app that will remain on my G1.
As far as the game is concerned, it is Air Hockey, just like the name implies and there really is not any surprise in the game itself. Well, maybe its not quite like paying on a big table, but the rules and the concept is the same. You have the option to play a single game or even compete in a best of three, five or seven series. The game also has realistic sounds, which can be toggled on or off, that make it a little more appealing. If nothing else, this should satisfy my desire to visit an arcade.
Air Hockey is currently available for download and is selling for $0.99. JJC Games also mentions (via Twitter) that they have a demo version available for download.
[Update] As you are able to see from the comment below, we (Androinica) already published a piece on this a little while back. However, I sometimes put something aside to save for a later time, a time when I can dedicate a few minutes to give a “proper” test. Given that, I then sometimes get excited and begin writing a post before I check to see if another writer already covered it. That said, I am sorry for the double post, but I still like the Air Hockey app.
