Samsung has announced that its new phone running the Google Android operating system will not be exhibited at Mobile World Congress as originally expected. Days before the phone was set to be unveiled in Barcelona at MWC, Samsung marketing executive Younghee Lee told The Guardian Newspaper that no Android phone from the company would be displayed next week.
Lee did report that the company was “planning internally” to distribute their entry into the soon-to-be crowded Android device market in the second half of the year. As previously reported, Samsung’s Android phone is expected to be carried by Sprint and T-Mobile.
