FlyCast for Android now available in the Android Market

FlyCast have recently released a beta version of their software into the Android Market. The app is currently available for download and for those who have not used it before, it offers “over 1200 unique channels of music, news, & sports and weather.” Also, “most” of the channels work on low bandwidth connections, which means that you should have a decent listening experience even without a Wi-Fi or 3G connection.

But perhaps, well, at the reason I am happy to see FlyCast further expanding is that (and this will apply to others with young children) they offer the Disney Channel — and its available at no extra charge, which means I can finally ditch that Sirius subscription. Additionally, FlyCast also has mobile players available for the iPhone and iPod touch as well as the BlackBerry Bold, Storm and Curve.
