New to Android programming? Want to get in on the Android Phone experience as a developer but aren’t sure how? One way to accomplish this might be to study up on your own. Another, if you don’t mind a little travel and a lot of cash loss, is to visit the Big Nerd Ranch this March.
The Big Nerd Ranch retreat, outside of Atlanta, Georgia, will hold this Android Bootcamp March 16 through March 20. A class price of $3500 includes lodging, all meals, original instruction materials, 24-hour lab access, and transportation to and from the Atlanta airport. What it also gets you is an intensive week of Android programming training and a chance to showcase your own Android project before others involved in the program.
Mark Murphy, said Big Nerd Ranch, will be leading the classes. He is the founder of CommonsWare and author of ‘The Busy Coder’s Guide to Android Development (Version 2.0)’ and upcoming ‘The Busy Coder’s Guide to Advanced Android Development (Version 1.0).’
